The retail sales of consumer goods in China totaled RMB
18.12 trillion (US $2.88 trillion) nationwide in 2012, an
increase of 17% from 2011. China seeks to boost retail
sales at 15% annually by 2015 and is expected to reach
RMB 32 trillion in 2015 from RMB 15.7 trillion in 2010.
